FALL SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY

 

We will use the Bible study guide by Bill Hybels, “Character: Who You Are When No One’s Looking." The 6 sessions cover: courage, discipline, vision, endurance, compassion, & self-sacrifice. Volunteers are needed: who will host a group in their home and/or lead a group. SIGN UP to order an $8 study guide. Scholarships to reduce book cost to $2 available.  

 


PRIME-TIME PRAYER TIME, THURSDAY EVENINGS, 7:00 p.m.

 

Everyone is invited to come and pray whenever you can. You are welcome to come and leave as needed. We are very informal.


 

FOOD PANTRY

FOOD PANTRY WILL BE OPENED FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 FROM NOON UNTIL 3:00 P.M.

\   If you are interested in helping Jerry & Patty Woodbury and Mable Speakman  with the Food Pantry itis open once per month. Duties include greeting visitors to the Food Pantry, checking IDs, and handing out the pre-assembled food kits. Please call or email the Church Office if you would like to be involved with this valuable ministry to our community. (298-9531 or office@srbclife.org). Thank you so much!

 

FOOD PANTRY – UPDATE: 

SRBC’s Food Pantry: There is still a great need for help with food in our community. Thanks to Mable Speakman, Jerry & Patty Woodbury for purchasing & bagging groceries and doing the distribution. Thanks to all for your donations!


How can you be a part of this vital ministry? Below is a list of suggestions:

 

1)  Help with purchasing groceries.             

2)  Bagging the groceries into kits.   

3)  Donating food to the Pantry.

4)  Donating funds to the Pantry.

5)  Volunteer at SRBC on a Friday afternoon to distribute food to our patrons.

 

A sign-up sheet will be posted in the hall beginning November 1st. Please check it out and sign-up where you can serve or call the Church Office (298-9431). Thank you!

1 Can Potted Meat 1 Sleeve Saltine Crackers
1 Can Vienna Sausage 2 Rolls Toilet Paper
1 Can/Jar Spaghetti Sauce
